Aron Norman: Full of Glee Shooting Fox's TCA Event

And did we mention it is in L.A.? Along with Shootdigital's tech, Marc Kelly, our team was hard at work to help Fox promote it's new fall lineup.
Hard at work when they weren't hanging out with the famous cast of Glee, that is! As you can see, Aron Norman fits in perfectly. Ok well, with a black shirt he might not fit in completely perfectly, but don't hate. His red shirt was just in the wash that day. Besides, everyone in New York wears black, right?
If any of the Glee writers are out there listening, we think Aron could make for a great addition to the show (when he isn't shooting, of course!).
More of Aron Norman at work on his new personal site here.
And if you just can't get enough of him, please be sure to check out his work at seed.

100th Post! Let's Party!
Ok, so we don't have an actual party scheduled. If we did you would, of course, all be invited! We even have the letterhead picked out--gold plated, recycled paper in the palest of baby blues. We think it says classy, modern and totally environmentally friendly, right?
But enough about the party that WILL be. Here are some pics of the party that was. Our latest moments on the town at the ROOT Studio/Resource Magazine Party. It coincided with the night Michael Jackson died so in addition to seeing all our friends we also got serenaded to the King of Pop's greatest hits. Ah, Brooklyn.

Producer, Tracey Carl rockin out!

The Glamour! The Glitz! Behind the beguiling brilliance besieging the offices of Seed Reps.
Perhaps we went a bit overboard in our touting above. Then again, once you see how devastating good looking our office is, maybe, we didn't go far enough.....
Truth be told this video is a bit dated but still fun (we think). You'll notice that we have added several photographers and a hair stylist to our roster so another episode is due out soon.
Hopefully we'll see you on-set soon!

Eat Your Heart Out Georgia O'Keeffe: Peter Rosa's Latest Shoot Blossoms on the pages of Chic Today

We are excited to share Peter Rosa's latest story in the british magazine, CHIC TODAY. If the ancient Greeks were alive today and saw this story, we are pretty sure that they would have added an eighth category to the 7 Arts.
This one definitely gives painters out there a run for their money (see gauntlet thrown down to Ms. O'Keeffe. Oh yes--thrown down!)
Click on THIS link to see the whole story.
Peter Rosa had a great team behind him including Tonya Noland at Mark Edward Inc, Lana Chui as wardrobe stylist, as well as a hairstylist from Artmix Beauty.
And Ganna at Elite blew us away with her moves--get that girl a campaign before someone else snatches her up!

Photo Opp: Alessandra Ambrosio has love for Seed Reps (and Hector)
As you can see Victoria's Secret model, Alessandra Ambrosio just couldn't resist giving Seed Reps a squeeze (or maybe it was Shootdigital barrista Hector who was irresistable. He just happens to have on a Seed Reps t-shirt). Either way it is not a bad week when you end it in the arms of a super-model, right?

Making Moves in Chris Fannings New Photography Playbook

We know it's not wise to show off your team's secret plays to the general public,
but with moves like these we just couldn't keep them to ourselves.
Above it the latest sports inspired fashion shoot from our photographer, chris fanning.

Never Picked Last: Chris Fanning's Latest Sports Inspired Shoot

We all remember those gym classes where the teacher left teams up to the kids and whoever was chosen captain held ultimate power over the rest of us. Thankfully, Chris Fanning knows how to pick a winner (and without making anyone cry). Evidence on his agility as both a sports and a fashion photographer, below.

You can see more from this shoot on the cover of Gaiam Yoga (in association for Shape Magazine). "Team Uniform" styled by Bernardo Siaotong.

Peter Rosa: Designer Discount

If you have a moment today hit up http://www.bluefly.com/ and NOT just to take advantage of the discounted designer duds. Our own Peter Rosa just completed his first shoot for them on Monday and they already have his shots up (it's the splash pages of female models)!
And no, Peter can't get you even deeper discounts on their products--sorry (but they are having a crazy 10 hour sale RIGHT NOW).

CASTING CALL! Is there a Ray Lewis out there?
Hello Lovelies. Hoping you or someone you know fit the following description. Should be a heck of a fun shoot with the possibility for more work if it gets picked up!
SHOOT DATE: Either Wed or Thurs, April 22nd, or 23rd
STATS: Looking for Black, Male Athlete or Model. Very Muscular build, preferably with a thick neck. Ages 21-40. Should have a linebacker build, but do not have to be tall.
Contact: Send pics to Tracey Carl (producer) at tracey@seedreps.com. EMAILS ONLY! NO PHONE CALLS!
Project Details: Our lifestyle photographer, is putting together a shoot for a home fragrance product. We will be taking a shot from the neck up of a black male athlete and cropping in so we need someone that has a muscular neck and can look intimidating. Think Ray Lewis.
The fee for the day would be $500 flat for a buyout. Breakfast and lunch would be provided and the shoot would be from about 9am-6pm.
Please send pictures showing full body and a straight-on shot of face to tracey@seedreps.com.
This shoot is being produced by Seed Reps (www.seedreps.com).

Just for Fun Tuesday
They say the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. We are pretty sure, however, that THEY never met Hector who is quite content to be exactly where he is, below. One of many fun snapshots from the set of one of Chris Fanning's latest shoots at Shootdigital Studios.
Between, Hector, Shootdigital's saucy barista and our own notorious photographer, it is never a dull set!

Did you say "B. O.?" NO, silly! BIOS!
And they are definitely fresh. Just wanted to help you all in getting to know our artists. We think they are pretty darn cool. Don't believe us? Be sure to check them out yourselves starting with their short bios. They are listed under each artists' name as a separate section on our website.
Want more? You'll just have to catch us around town or hire us on a job. Tomorrow we will be at Sin Sin Lounge for the Adhesive event starting around 6:30pm. Come find us! We are well versed in most dance steps and topics in current events so we are sure to make for some excellent company (but we never, never talk about the weather).

OMG! We have a WINNER for the Jelly Bean Contest!!!
Well, the wait is finally over and our heads hurt from all the math (ok and probably all the jelly beans we have managed to consume in an alarmingly short amount of time). The total jelly beans in the jar is 1,940.
Below is the name of the winner and the 5 closest guesses. We followed "The Price is Right" model where whoever guessed closest without going over won (although even the other way Amanda pretty much had it in the bag).
WINNER: Amanda Haan (68 under)
TOP 5 CLOSEST GUESSES:
1. Ellen Hutchings (212 under)
2. Chris Tomczak (257 under)
3. Jason Passant (312 under)
4. Sara Foldenauer (378 under)
5. Pam Lor (440 under)
Thanks to all for playing. We will definitely be holding another contest in the next couple of months so if you didn't win this one, there will be another chance for glory soon.
In the meantime, I would make friends with Amanda. She is the proud recipient of a gift-card to the holiest of holy grocery stores in NYC--WHOLEFOODS. If you are lucky, maybe she will share some snacks :)

Everything Is Better With Bacon
And our producer, Daniel Weiner. Strangely, none of our fashion shooters felt this way and so this accessory will not be making it into any of their shoots (at least not anytime soon).
Be sure to keep watching our blog, regardless of the breakfast side dishes. We have a couple shoots in production that are sure to be more vegetarian friendly.
Leave us a note and lett us know how your Friday is treating you!

March Madness with Our Friends. From Seed Reps Production to You!
Not sure what you are up to this month but here's an idea. Have a photo shoot that is big on dreams but short on cash? No worries! Our friends at Shootdigital are reducing their rates to $500 for the month of March.
We thought it might be a reaction from the margaritas Hector makes over there. But they are actually doing it to help clients who may be experiencing a pinch to their budgets. Don't worry--the recession has not affected Margarita Fridays (but we hear that day of the week is filling up the quickest...)
Anyway, figured we'd spread the word--hope it helps you out for your next shoot!

We See London, We See France. Peter Rosa Shows Us Some (Pretty) Underpants.
No offense meant to Peter of course, but we are happy that the underpants--more accurately, lingerie of course-- are being modeled by professionals. Taking a peek below I'm sure you can see why by this fantastic fashion story on location.
It may still officially be winter outside but these ladies remind us how to save on your gas and electric bill (by turning up the heat in other ways).

Marcqui Akins: A Different Sort of Beauty
Below are some picks from Marcqui Akin's latest beauty story. Startled that a beauty story could be, well, this interesting? We were too, but we love that he keeps reinventing the wheel.
His story below is based on the premise that our heroine (model, Jordan Richardson from Elite) mistrusts her man. Torn apart with suspicion she sulks, lounges and digs through the apartment searching for evidence of deceit, and looking, of course, absolutely fabulous at the same time. Don't believe me? The pictures below don't lie.

Retouching courtesy of Shootdigital. They do amazing work--you can contact there here for your next project!
