Photographer Aron Norman Forms Avant-Gard Theater Troupe--World Applauds

Ok, not really. But don't we look like one in this photo? Truth is, it was Aron's birthday and after a long day of shooting, we were getting just a leeeeetle punchy towards the end of the day.
Those scarves are part of the new RRR line from Rachel Roy. And even with our poor attempts at styling them, you can still get a hint of how cool her new pieces really are. And the best part? This offshoot line is affordable enough to warrant a splurge, even in a recession. Afterall, a girl's gotta wear SOMETHING, right?

Big thanks to Shootdigital for the upgrade to a bigger studio to accommodate our crew!

100th Post! Let's Party!

Ok, so we don't have an actual party scheduled. If we did you would, of course, all be invited! We even have the letterhead picked out--gold plated, recycled paper in the palest of baby blues. We think it says classy, modern and totally environmentally friendly, right?

But enough about the party that WILL be. Here are some pics of the party that was. Our latest moments on the town at the ROOT Studio/Resource Magazine Party. It coincided with the night Michael Jackson died so in addition to seeing all our friends we also got serenaded to the King of Pop's greatest hits. Ah, Brooklyn.

On Monday the stars were definitely out (and we aren't just talking about present company, of course). Shootdigital and Seed Reps Photography teamed up to cover the celebrity portraits for Fox's Upfront event at Wollman Rink in Central Park.

And amidst all the hard work we also got a chance to jump in a couple of frames ourselves. Thanks to everyone for all their hard work--looking forward to seeing you all again next year!

Randi Mitev and Aron Norman shoot the cast from Bones.

Tracey Carl with Michael Strahan and Daryl "Chill" Mitchell. Part of the cast of Brothers.

Daniel Weiner with the star from America's Most Wanted, John Walsh.

Homer as you can see, was less then pleased.

Giving our best impression of Marge Simpson with her two sisters.

Everything Is Better With Bacon

And our producer, Daniel Weiner. Strangely, none of our fashion shooters felt this way and so this accessory will not be making it into any of their shoots (at least not anytime soon).

Be sure to keep watching our blog, regardless of the breakfast side dishes. We have a couple shoots in production that are sure to be more vegetarian friendly.

Leave us a note and lett us know how your Friday is treating you!

A Pacifist's Dilema: Tracey Carl attends a Fashion War by ZOOZOOM Magazine

Tracey and Linette strike a pose.

As long as the fight happens with sequins and feathers, leather and lipstick, we can excuse a war, so long it is a FASHION WAR! And the fashion warriors came out in full armor last night at ZooZoom Magazine's 3rd Fashion Wars hosted by Ultra Lounge. Tracey Carl attended with friend and stylist Linette McCown and the gloves were off once they got in front of the camera. The bar was set high to compete with other guests for the glory and the glamor of winning Fashion Wars. Fingers crossed they remain "sold out."

The voting continues for 3 weeks so please be sure to log on and vote (preferably for Linette and Tracey of course!) Just click on the image you like best out of the 2 pictures in front of you.

Seed Reps Attends Russell James "Nomad" Exibit

Last night Daniel Weiner and Tracey Carl attended photographer Russell James party to exhibit his latest project, Nomad. It was held in Donna Karen's studio space in the West Village and we ran into a bunch of our friends there (including Hugh Jackman--ok, not so much but we make excellent pals Hugh, if you are in need!). Profits were donated to an Australian Charity.

Needless to say, the food was fantastic, the art was great and we had an excellent time. Pics below.

Daniel Weiner with retoucher extraodinaire, Tzveta Stamatova. Check out her work HERE

Tracey Carl and Tzveta enjoying a beverage while listening to the speeches

No, that's not a forest scene. Prop stylists from Bryan Bantry used indigenous materials to give the space a similar feel to the art being exhibited.

Although the drinks were complimentary, Tzveta made sure to leave a nice tip. Talented and gracious!

Ok, I know it's hard to see but I swear that is Hugh Jackman up there giving a speech.

Seed Reps Have a Howlin Good Time at the Shootdigital Party

..helping to launch the new location van for shootdigital--the Coyote. Our photographer Aron Norman lent a hand by embracing his alter-ego DJ persona (in the guise of Madonna) to keep the music and the energy coming. There was a collective "awww" from the crowd when he had to finally put away the turntables, but don't worry folks, we'll let you know about his next gig for sure!

As you can see, there was some serious creativity put into the costumes. Shootdigital will be posting the rest of the pictures soon and we'll definitely share that link as soon as we have it...just keep checking in.

Special thanks to Marc Kelly, and Joanna for the contribution of the pics, Randi for keeping us safe from the dark side, Peter Rosa for helping shape the civilized world, Tracey for not believing in global warning and Daniel for continuing to rock and roll.

And, of course a big thanks to the folks at Shootdigital for putting the whole party together!

Seed Out and About

Oh my, how embarrassing! We have had these pics from when Tracey and Daniel were out at Sandbox Studios for months and have not posted them! To recap, we had a great time eating their giant cheese plate (Daniel, in particular is a huge fan of any kind of super stinky cheese which were among the offerings) and dancing off all that dairy on the dance floor. We also got to see a lot of old friends and a couple new faces too. Can't wait for the next chance to shake it on the dance floor. In the meantime, if you have a particularly stinky and tasty cheese and would like to share, please e-mail your suggestions to info@seedreps.com

Daniel and Tracey had a lot of fun with the giant mirror

New Adventures in Old Santa Fe

My friend and stylist Linette McCown (website below) and I took a recent trip to Santa Fe to visit one of our girlfriends. Rachel Harrington moved back out there recently from NYC and is absolutely loving it. In between shooting guns and off-roading Rachel took us on a tour of her hometown. It's obvious why she is in love. After only 1 margarita at 10,000 feet Linette and I were also feeling the love. Below are some pics of our adventures.

Rachel practicing "safe" driving while showing us the sights. 10 and 2 woman, 10 and 2!!!
